DOOM PILGRIM Pocket is a mint tin box version of the critically acclaimed DOOM PILGRIM solo adventure. More compact and faster fun for less money!

• It contains the same cards as the classic DOOM PILGRIM, the grimdark medieval fantasy game.
• The card texts are shorter, so the narrative aspect of the game is a bit reduced and also card effects are sometimes less complex. On the other hand, the gameplay is smoother and more actionable thanks to it.
• Some cards were on the contrary equipped with new effects so that we use all of the space the most effectively.
• The rules are the same as in the big version, but they are not included, see them here or download them from this page.
• We will try to support the pocket version no less than the classic version concerning eventual expansions, add-ons and other future stuff, so that also fans of this more compact form get the fullest DOOM PILGRIM experience possible. A lot of things coming for DOOM PILGRIM will even be compatible with both versions.
• Thanks to shorter text and more straightforward effects, this pocket version is better for most of the multiplayer options. You can find the multiplayer rules here.

DOOM PILGRIM Pocket uses 1 point smaller font than the classic version, so if you have problems reading smaller text, consider taking the bigger version nevertheless.

FAQ: Isn't the price too much for a mint tin game?

ANSWER: This is a tall mint tin box (that fits 90 cards instead of 54 like the classic mint tin) and we filled it with all the 90 cards (each with its own original picture and text).

FAQ: Shall I buy this version when I already have the original, bigger version?

ANSWER: You definitely do not need to buy this as this is not an expansion, but another version of the same thing, bringing no substantial novelty or new content. Anyway, if you are a big DOOM PILGRIM fan, you may still consider getting it for shorter, more concise gameplays, for travelling and stuff or just because mint tin boxes are really cute.

FAQ: There is already the DOOM PILGRIM expansion pack, called DOOM DEEPER! out there. Can we expect it coming for the pocket version too?

ANSWER: It is definitely the plan to convert it and bring in pocket version, as well as any other regular expansions, but it also depends on how many backers the pocket version gets. So, the only promise at the moment is that there will be numerous expansions or add-ons compatible with both versions, starting with DOOM PILGRIM Black Bag (128 random encounters on mini cards) in 2025. In the end, the add-ons that are already available (for free) are also compatible with both versions.

FAQ: Does the mint tin box include everything I need to play?

ANSWER: The only substantial thing missing is the rules. But they are very simple and you can get them here and also from various other places. You will also need a pen and a piece of paper to play. Or you can print the character sheet you get for free from this page. You can also use the game mat, which is sold separately, but it is fully optional, not needed for playing.
