Description
Current research leads us to believe that it is important for children to begin their understanding of math by counting on their fingers. However, it is very clear that if a child never progresses beyond finger-counting, he or she will be very handicapped in their mathematical development. This game is an effective method to help children conceptualize numbers in a way that enables them to build their mental math skills.
