Play DOWN UNDER with one box for 3-5 players. Get a second Blue DOWN UNDER box to play with 6-10 players.
For various reasons people have come to Australia looking for a fresh start and better luck. Along with new opportunities they found a continent full of its own aboriginal history and a land full of exotic and dangerous life.
DOWN UNDER is a card game that combines the Australian ideas of getting a fresh start, testing your own abilities with strategy, and trying your luck in the end.
Our family has been playing a version of the Down Under Card Game since the 1990s when we were taught how to play by some friends using a regular card deck. A few years ago we decided to make our own version with additional cards and slightly changed rules. We felt the changes required a name change and we came up with the Australian theme and the name Down Under.
This is a great party game or a game to play with a family or small group of friends. Play a few hands for a short game, or keep score and play longer to see who is the most strategic and lucky of the group.
One deck of cards consists of 60 cards for playing the game and 5 cards that have the game play instructions. Please note that when the box is first opened, the cards will be randomly shuffled with the 5 instructions cards mixed in with the game cards.
ENJOY!
