At 200 MPH only inches separate your car from the car behind you. Anywhere else in the world and you would be cursing the driver. But this isn’t just any joy ride. This is the world championships and as frightening as it may be, he’s giving you the speed you need to win it.
You and your fellow players simultaneously play cards face down from your hand onto one of the cars in a lineup then pass your hands to the player whose lead car is next in placement order or back to whoever is in first if you are currently in last until all cars have 1 card played on them.
Once all cars have a card played upon them, reveal the cards and shift the cars into lanes to form drafting groups. Then, starting from the front and working backward, compare the speed of each car or drafting group and adjust their relative position as appropriate. Re-align all the cars into a single line and a new lap begins with the players receiving a new hand of cards.
This happens 3 times in a 3 to 10 player game, or in a 2 player game until there are not enough cards left in the deck for each player to receive a full hand of 7 cards.
After the last lap, if you are in first place or closest to first place amongst all the players, you win.
