What is Effluvium? Effluvium is a Savage Worlds indie setting boxed set and passion project created by Phil Sturgill. It takes place in the dying world of Hrœland, where would-be heroes, known as Sojourners, survive horrors of a world slowly rotting away.
What does this Boxed Set Feature? - A ninety page setting book written mainly by Phil Sturgill, featuring artwork by Rasul Karmenov and Sindi Fatkoja, among many others. As well as a custom starting scenario "The Orphans of Ballymoon" written by James Dodds. The book includes custom character archetypes, new Arcane Backgrounds, the gods of the setting, goods and gear, as well as many monsters, town, and adventure generators.
One-hundred and eighty-two cardboard punchouts with artwork by the talented Rasul Karmenov! They feature the monsters found in the book, and on the flip-side feature a version to indicate them being Shaken. On top of that, they include custom tokens for Bennies and Conviction!
An initiative card deck featuring beautiful artwork by Rasul Karmenov.
A custom screen for the Game's Master or "Sagaman" painted by Sindi Fatkoja. Which includes a map of the Remaining World on the reverse side.
An additional, printed map of Hrœland designed by Phil Sturgill.
A series of downloadable files. Including a map of Hrœland, downloadable image files of creatures for play on various tabletop simulating programs. And maps based on the starting adventure The Orphans of Ballymoon.
