Shuffle the deck and place 9 letters, randomly oriented, in a 3x3 grid. Each player may now make one adjustment to letters, positions or orientation. Once that’s done, turn over the 2 minute timer. Each player writes as many 3 or more letter words as they can make from letters on the grid. One catch though. Each word must contain the grid’s center letter.
Once time is up, players each read their words… and everyone’s duplicate words are eliminated. Remaining words are scored as follows:
3 letter word = 1 point
4 letter word = 2 points
5 letter word = 3 points
6 letter word = 5 points
7 letter word = 10 points
8 letter word = 25 points
9 letter word = 50 points
Any word whose cards are either all the same color or all different colors scores double for that word.
High score wins.
