Description
EMPIRE OF SWORDS is an intense, fast-paced 2-player game of guessing your opponent's next move, and hoping you have the skill - and the luck - to defeat your opponent in melee combat.
Each player starts the round with attack cards - a mix of basic and special moves. The three basic moves - Thrust, Slash and Chop - will defeat one another. Beware, your opponent can counter with special moves like Parry and the fatal card Unblockable Strike.
The first blademaster to land 5 hits wins the match!
EMPIRE OF SWORDS first 18-card expansion, ADVANCED TECHNIQUES, is out now! Prepare for the addition of QuickStrike cards, that allow you to play devastating effects any time and change the game as you play!

It has come to this.
Centuries of war has brought death and destruction upon the people of the empire. Warriors from the every clan have ravaged the once beautiful landscape, in an effort to bring their masters closer to complete domination. It is only now that all sides have reached a stalemate.
The only remaining solution is a duel of champions. With their glowing swords of power, the fabled blademasters have been summoned to one final contest to determine not only the fate of your clan, but the future of the EMPIRE OF SWORDS.
