Description
In a galaxy populated by slave-empires, power-hungry warlords and star nobles seeking forgotten glory, no stellar sector is safe from constant encounters between embattled factions. In these dark times, some galactic heroes distinguish themselves as great fleet commanders, winning a battle after another. Will you become one of them or be forgotten forever?
The Encounter is a fast-paced card game for two players. Both players use cards to build, deploy and battle with their fleets.
Gameplay is very beginner friendly and intuitive to grasp from the set go, but the strategical depth of the game is quite deep. Interesting decisions stem from all phases of the game, from the difficult recruitment, deployment formations and finally, the order of battle itself.
The game plays under 20 minutes with experienced players and may take up to an hour with new players.
