Entomology

Entomology simulates a university semester from the perspective of students majoring in this field of science. Accurately detailed illustrations of insects, textbooks, and a realistic syllabus will immerse the players through a semester of college as they compete to:

Attend the most lectures...

Conduct the best field research...

Read the most textbooks...

And assemble the most beautiful specimen collection.

Each of those tasks are worth Star Points, and at the end of the game the player with the most Star Points wins!

OVERVIEW

Each player has a set of 6 jumbo cards in front of him or her representing different academic tasks.

A turn consists of each player moving their Beeple (beetle-meeple) to the next card, while one player flips a "Time" card at the center of the table. Players compare/combine the color and number on the Beeple card with that of the Time card.

The number sums or color combinations give each player a unique set of choices on which tasks can be completed.

Each player individually chooses one eligible task on a card and marks it off with a dry-erase marker. Some tasks are worth Star Points, while others give special advantages, or even combos--allowing a player to mark off multiple tasks!

Repeat that sequence seventeen more times until the Time Deck is exhausted and the game ends. Then tally up the scores to find out which student finished top of the class!
