Escape of the Kre'null

This is a game of intense steampunk airship battle and daring rescue.  Players work together in order get past the evil squad of airfoils, rescue The Grand Duchess, and take down the Kre'null, if possible.  All in a days work you say?  What are you waiting for?  Jump into one of the Naruil Airfoils and head off into adventure!
 
Welcome to the world of Ilon'veck.  A world of amazing floating cities, corrupted landscapes, great walled metropolises, and the airships that fuel the economies.  Long ago, as the world grew and steam technology reigned there was a great sundering which released vile monsterious horrors unto the lands.  The people fled into the confines of walled metropolis and utilized the massive floating cities and farms to provide additional resources for them.  Now overland travel is near impossible if one values their lives and cargo.  The only way the people are able to travel or transport goods is by airship.  Though, even air travel has its risks; pirates, flying monsters, mysterious floating isles, and the like.  

One major event that many of the citizens look forward to is the annual Naruil Airfoil Championship.  Airfoils are small two person airships built for speed and stealth.  Many are used for combat, message runners, and personal carriers.  The Nauril Airfoil is a particular frame of personal airship specially developed for high speeds.  Each year teams and members from around the realms gather for this highly anticipated and attended event.  The Grand Duchess herself takes time out of her busy schedule to start the race.  

This year, however, a crew of low life criminals have their eye on a larger prize than winning a simple race.  The crew of the Kre'null, led by the nefarious Captain, known only as Dark Amber, has kidnapped the Grand Duchess.  It is up to the players to rescue the most beloved leader across the realms, before the Kre'null can escape with The Grand Duchess and pull off this dastardly scheme.
