This game takes players on a journey to live the most content week possible.
Time is finite, but true Contentment is when we appreciate the time we have and the acts we do within it.
Each day, players have eight hours to live a life full of Contentment. Whether it be through:
There are many paths and it’s up to each player to decide what a good day means to them.
At the end of the five days, players will tally their Contentment and the player with the most Contentment wins the game.
An Intentional Life means doing things on purpose and in this game, Intentions act as a guide for many of the decisions we make throughout the week.
Fulfilling our Intentions is found through a life well lived, in terms of the Skills and Friends we've met along the way. Each of these helps us grow, providing a benefit each day, Contentment and the tokens we need to fulfil our Intentions.
Acquiring Skills and building Friends however takes Inspiration, which we can get from our Dreams and by reflecting throughout the day, completing the main cycle for the game.
The game is played over 5 days, each day consisting of 8 hours. Players take turns based on who is on the earliest hour and on top of the stack. If this is your first game, whoever drank tea most recently goes first!
On a player's turn they can:
: Take a Resource Tile and gain it’s Inspiration
: Gain a Friend or Skill and gain Tokens equal to the number of Icons on the Card
(On Card): Play a Personal Skill
: Draw Intention Cards, drawing 3 and choosing 1to keep (Time Free): Rest and end their Day.
Then as a bonus Action, they can Fulfil one Community or** Personal Intention**. Personal Intentions can be shared with the Community for extra Contentment!
Players take turns until all players are on (or past) the eighth hour, then the night phase begins, where everyone can play one last Action before the start of the new day.
If there are no more days, then the game is complete! Count the points, and the player with the most Contentment wins the game.
