Suspects that stutter and stammer. CCTV footage without audio. A rookie sketch artist. Conspiracies everywhere, and only so much coffee and so many donuts before you crack. Can you and your partner at the precinct sift through the clues, sort through your caseloads, connect the red strings, and solve all the crimes? Listen carefully, watch closely, and you might just find that everything becomes Evident!

Overview

Evident is a worker placement word game for two-to-four players, and can be played cooperatively or in a team-vs-team format. On your turn, your goal is to get your partner to identify the key words you hold in your hand – those are the people, locations, and things associated with the crime! You’ll roll dice, and then place them strategically around the precinct; they determine how you are able to give clues – because on your turn, YOU provide the evidence for the case, and it’s up to your partner to solve it!

Objective

Team-vs-team: solve all your case files before the other pair of partners. It’s a zero sum world out there, and the sergeant is only promoting the best and brightest, so make it snappy!

Cooperative: solve all the case files in twenty-five minutes. The director is showing up in half an hour for a briefing, and expects results!

How to Play
