The Meaning of Life proposes to propel moral dilemmas at cosmic scales by playing around with shifting Meta-Ethics and Moral theories. The game still starts with the same initial goal which is to survive, but a set of 31 cards allows to amend the conception of what is good and what is bad and of how to do the most good along the way. At the beginning, everybody simply struggles for life, but some or all might change their mind and opt, for example, to optimise happiness, population, conservation, the creation of cultural artifacts or even cruelty. An extra Species is also provided, allowing 5 players to enjoy the game, alongside with two extra Stars and 2 extra lifeforms per already existing Species.
Two expansions have been developed that can be played independently or in combination. These also fit in mint tins. You may buy these alone (in this case you need the original game to play), or as part of "Books" in which the original game is also included. Mint tins are great for moving around with the game. Books are perfect for your bookshelf, and you get the mint tins inside! The Big Book of Existence includes the original game, both extensions, a beautiful 6-Fold board, and some secret goodies.
