Flash Card Coaching

Professional Coaching can be very powerful, but it also takes time to learn. Flash Card Coaching is a tool to practice staying neutral, holding back, active listening, presence, and using powerful questions. It also shows the power of using a coaching arc. This deck has been developed as part of our Agile Coach workshops and is now available for the first time on its own.

Here's how it works. The deck is a series of 24 questions that follow an arc from starting a coaching conversation to the coachee taking action. The coach chooses a question to show to the coachee, then based on the response chooses another card. During the whole session, the coach never speaks, just shows cards from the deck to the coachee. This helps to demonstrate how one can provide value as a coach while maintaining neutrality.
