Description
You are four roman Patricians, but there can only be two consuls. You have made your alliance and now the both of you must exert your influence on roman social and military life, to achieve victory over the other two patricians. But you can only influence where Fortuna has provided an opportunity. Use your best strategy to capitalize on those opportunities, because when the dice are cast, there is no going back.
This is a Trick-Taking game with dice-casting elements. The winner of a trick is determined by simple “tops-down” or “bottoms-up” rules. Points are scored mainly by winning a trick in which a card was played which corresponds to the value of a dice on the corresponding shard (the shard indicates the suit). The goal of the game is to get the most points in 16 rounds. Every round consists of 6 tricks.
Note: You can play this Game easily with a set of poker cards (or similar) and three dice. You will only need the cards from 1-6 from all 4 suits, plus use an additional card from every suit as a shard. Check out the free downloadable rules document below.
This game contains laser cut components. Laser cut items will have a slight amount of soot around the edges, which can easily be wiped off; and will have a campfire smell for about a week after you open them.
