Tired of losing to all those bibliophiles? Want to stand up to Merriam and her dictionary? All it takes is a four-letter word and some clever deduction. Guess an opponent's four-letter word before someone guesses yours!
Choose any 4 of the 12 coloured letters on the face of the card to secretly formulate a four-letter word. Using a letter twice to form your word is not allowed. E.g., "TALL" is not allowed since the "L" would be used twice. (For all you Boggle players, this is not Boggle. Letters do not have to be touching or next to one another).
The player who last visited a library goes first.
You may take one of the following 2 actions on your turn:
1) Ask the player to your left any yes or no question about their word. They must answer truthfully. Example question: Are there any red letters in your word?
2) Or, try to guess their word. If you guess wrong, you are eliminated. Eliminated players must remain and continue to answer any questions.
Then the next player to the left does the same.
*Taking notes is allowed.
Play continues clockwise until one player wins:
1) by guessing a word correctly or,
2) by being the only player left who hasn't been eliminated.
