Friendlandia

Shouldn’t other forms of relationships and partnerships be honored as highly as we honor romantic partnerships? What if Friends could get "Friendgaged"? What if they could commit to each other in ceremony? Wouldn't it be a better world if Friends more often expressed their dedication and love to one another?

Friends are invited to sit across from each other in a comfortable, quiet space. With the two sets of prompts for their ceremony, each side takes turns following the prompts. Some examples of prompts:
“The first time I met you, I remember thinking…”
“I knew we were friends when…”
“Whenever I need…I know I can come to you.”
“Something I’ve learned from you is…”

At the completion of the ceremony, the Friends are encouraged to give friendship bracelets to exchange (not included), making them BFFs.

This "game" was designed as a core part of a Burning Man theme camp where visitors come to the camp and perform the ceremony in a Temple of Friendgagement.
