As a jewel trader, your job is to fill your bags with as many jewels as possible without them overflowing and spilling their contents everywhere, and it's trickier than you may think.
In this fast, exciting game of bidding and outsmarting your opponents, you will be competing for gems on the open market. Part of the game is careful planning, part of it is managing your money, and part of it is predicting what you think your opponents will do.
In each round, players will offer cards from their hand on the open market, then players will all blindly bid an amount of money from their available resources. The player with the highest bid gets to pick up one of the offered cards first, then the second highest bid, and so on down the line. Money quickly changes hands as the lowest bidder gets their coins replenished.
As players pick up cards, they have to add them to their bags. Bags have to have a certain amount of gems in them by the end of the round to be scored, but they can't exceed their capacity, or they will spill and count for nothing.
Being a shrewd trader means being able to predict what gems your opponents will want, and managing your money well enough to outbid them when one they want is available. But, you can't ignore your own needs. Balancing strategy and planning for your own victory with prediction and blocking to prevent your opponents' is the key to mastering Gahana.
