Gametamers

You and your opponents are trying to prove that you are the best explorers of all time. To do this you must explore new islands, defeat your opponents to plunder resources from those islands, and use those resources to amass as much wealth as possible. What competitions do explorers engage in? Whatever you and your opponents choose! Other board games, athletic events, gambling, rock-paper-scissors, anything you wish!

The islands that you are exploring will throw a variety of games and challenges at you, and to become a champion you must tame those challenges. Collect resources by choosing cards and winning competitions against your opponents. Gain victory points by winning those competitions and spending resources at the market. Cards won and bought may be worth 1, 2, or 3 victory points, as indicated by the number inside the star on these cards. The player with the most victory points is the winner.

Gametamers pushes boundaries by extending game play over a day, a weekend, or a month or more. As a meta-game, the results of “conventional” games you play will impact your standing in Gametamers, and each of those games represents only a single turn in Gametamers. A win in Gametamers represents a culmination of numerous smaller victories and thus represents a true championship.
