Gem Hustle

It's tough out here in the old west but your gang of outlaws recently “discovered” a stash of gemstones. Must be your lucky day. Now all you've got to do is divide it up. Of course you want the bigger half, but the desert is too unforgiving to risk a gun fight. So you play a game of chance. That doesn’t mean you’ll play fair though...

Gem Hustle is dice game for 2 to 5 players. Roll the highest each round to claim gems, but you can only roll each dice once. With only a few high value dice, do you chance it on your own or team up with others but share the spoils?

How to Play

Gem hustle is played in rounds. Each round players will try to win a stash of gems by getting the highest dice score. Players have 5 dice of different sizes and they can only use each dice once. Gem Hustle is played until players have used all of their dice or until there are no more gems left to be won.

In a round all players will;

• Stash – All players take it in turns to build the gem stash by adding gems to the grey bag. Get 2 random gems, check the colours and place 1 or both in the stash. Different colours score players a different amount of points. Players score more points for gems that match the colour of their dice.
• Pick – All players secretly choose which dice they are going to roll or choose to fold. Remember you can only roll each dice once.
• Hustle – Players can choose to team up with other players and share the gem stash. Players do not yet know what dice other players have chosen, they may have even folded.
• Roll – All players roll their dice. The players with the highest total claim the gem stash. If a team wins, one players decides how to divide up the gems. If their team mates are unhapy with their share no-one wins any gems this round.

The player with the highest scoring set of gems wins
