GenSci Card is a science themed strategy card game that is easy to learn. The science content and the strategies are universal so it can be enjoyed even by nonscience enthusiasts. Some of the science contents are higher levels intended to add more educational value specially if used in schools but understanding all the content is not a necessity to learn and enjoy the game.
The game can be learned by anyone who can grasp the category ranks and family ranks of each card even without fully understanding the science concepts. Exposure to the terminologies though may initiate enthusiasm in players to learn more about the science contents. There are two ways to play the card deck – Hierarchy and Association and both can be played by two, three, or four players. A typical fun game will normally last for 15 to 20 minutes. Full documentation on mechanics of the games, user guide (downloadable), and videos are accessible at eductrends.com.
