DESCRIPTION
During the 15th-17th centuries, the world was full of explorers in search of fame, religious freedom, and riches. Four European empires navigated the Atlantic with hopes of expanding their global influence. Although each had differing methods, all four empires left a lasting mark on the New World. Can you do the same?

INSTRUCTIONAL GUIDE
A downloadable instruction guide is available for review, but the best way to learn is to jump right in and play! The guide will help first-time voyagers as they sail west across the Atlantic, reach shore with limited provisions, and seek to establishing dominance in the unsettled New World.

EXPLORERS
"Glory, God, & Gold" turns back time to rewrite history. Each player represents an empire with the intention of establishing a dynasty in the newly discovered land of America. Famous adventurers including Ferdinand Magellan, Vasco de Gama, Christopher Columbus, Sir Francis Drake, and many other heroes and villains are at your disposal, each with their own unique set of skills.

GAMEPLAY PART 1 - AT SEA
Players must choose which essential resources to take on their journey as they leave their homelands and voyage toward the New World. While at sea, explorers have the option to attack opposing ships, search islands for buried treasure (beware of lurking pirates), or simply rush toward land.

GAMEPLAY PART 2 - ON LAND
A shift in gameplay occurs after reaching land. Players navigate the map on foot by revealing previously unknown resources that vary each game. Westward expeditions provide the best opportunity for finding gold, but the risks of being attacked or running out of food are also greater.

WINNING THE GAME
"Glory, God, and Gold" has an open world setting with multiple ways to claim victory. Discovering an abundance of gold is the quickest way to win, but players who are struggling to find riches could take the offensive and attack their opponents. Perhaps a player overexerted his men and ran out of food, thus leaving his gold for anyone to steal until he returns with a new explorer. Maybe a particular map has limited resources and a player decides to build a fort, hoard all of the food, and wait as other players struggle to survive. Each game provides new challenges to overcome for all players involved.
