Description

Sumer is icummen in...

Loude sing cuckoo! Gnav cards, known variously in different places as Cucco, Kille, or Hexenspiel, are a unique single suited card deck used to play a set of different and interesting games. In Norway (from where the name Gnav comes from) every year around Christmas time Gnav is played by families across the country. In Sweden, Kille, a completely different game in style and feel is played. And in parts of Italy the game of Cucco and Zifuli add yet another layer of complexity. No matter what you are looking for in a game, whether an easy game for all ages or a complex game to master, Gnav cards are an excellent addition to your game collection.

Games Old and New

The first set of cuckoo cards can be found in Italy in the late 15th century, as such there are a wide variety of games that have evolved over the years in use for these cards as they moved across Europe. In addition to being able to play games such as Gnav, Kille, and Zifuli, this set of Gnav cards also includes instructions for a completely new trick taking game exclusively from Jean de Lorraine: Taureaux.
