Golden Maids Card Game

Golden Rules Unite pairs of cards on the lanai but keep the “Golden Maids.”

Setup Any player shuffles the pack and deals them to each player, one at a time, until all the cards are dealt. The lanai is a communal space in the center of your playing area.

Playing Each player joins all pairs from their hands and places them face up on the lanai. The dealer then offers their hand, spread out face down, to the player on the left, who draws one card from it. This player moves any pair that may have been formed by the drawn card to the lanai. The player then offers their own hand to the player on their left. This proceeds until all cards have been paired except the “Golden Maids” card, which is one of a kind. The player who has that card sings, “Thank You For Being a Friend,” to celebrate their victory!
