Gunball is a dartgun dart game played with the Nerf Maverick or a similar, 6-round dart gun. Shoot the darts at the wall-mounted board, earn points, be glorious.
Gameplay
Players will take turns shooting 6 darts at the Gunball Board
The ten Framings are broken up into 4 “Roundings” and is to be played as follows:
Framings 1-3 - Mustang - Shot at a distance of about 7 feet.
Framings 4-6 - Stallion - Shot at a distance of about 9.5 feet.
Framings 7-9 - Stud - Shot at a distance of about 12 feet.
Framing 10 - Final Framing - Shot at Mustang distance, but each double hit earns an extra shot to be aimed at the horse at the top of the board.
Bonus Framing - Centaur Shots - This only happens if you hit a double in the 10th frame. An opponent will load however many shots have been earned into the Gunball gun, and each successful hit (only need 1% coverage) earns an extra 100 points. In the event that a dart hits the part of the horse-man that makes the dart look like a ridiculous horse boner, the player will earn 200 points.
Throughout the course of the game, those who are not shooting will run commentary for the game (similar to that of a baseball game). Phrases like “You hate to see that happen...” and “It’s a beautiful day for some Gunball...” are common.
Scoring
A dart must be 51% on a scoring area of the target to receive points.
The black and white squares adjacent to the scoring areas are worth double that amount. There is no difference between the black and white squares.
For “Centaur Shot” scoring, see above section.
