Description
In this expansion to the Gundalow board game, instead of starting with a large gundalow, each captain will start with a small skiff – a sturdy flat-bottomed sailboat with a pointed bow and square stern. Skiffs are faster than gundalows, but don’t hold as much cargo. By bringing lumber back to their home port, players can upgrade their skiff to a bateau, which can carry more cargo and are only slightly slower than a skiff. With some more lumber, players can upgrade to a full size gundalow. Will you use a larger boat to move more cargo on each trip (to maximize your profit) or rely on speed and timing to move valuable goods ahead of your competition?
Note: you must already own a copy of Gundalow to use this expansion.
