Entering the spacious chamber, you note the rigs are running, but the building is devoid of people. And the screens all display the same message:
"Are you the best? I have a job for you. Refuse, and your friends are dead. You have until midnight."
You settle into your usual seat, but it brings you no comfort. As you start to log in, you realize if the ID's of your seven friends have been compromised, yours probably has been, too. It was time to revert to an older screen name. One that predated joining your Hack LAN family.

Lone Wolf takes the intense, turn-based, spatial-reasoning strategy game of HACK and pits you against an AI that is aggressive and challenging. The stakes are high, and losing dice one round leaves you one die short in the next. Your goal each round is the same as in HACK: total elimination of enemy dice or hacking the enemy's back row, but doing so will prove to be a challenge since the enemy starts with twice as many dice.
This is an expansion that requires Hack to play.
