The same spooktacular game made more affordable through the magic of dry erase marker! When you reveal a letter, you literally reveal a letter.
This is Halloweeja: the Halloween party, board game where you talk to the living, and bring your party back from the dead! Horror fans, haunters, and Halloween enthusiasts will enjoy Halloweeja year round, but anyone who observes All Hallows' Eve will find this game frightfully delightful.
Take turns asking each other wacky, Halloween themed questions from the Book Of Hijinks. There are no right or wrong answers. Match players to their replies. Each YES earned with a correct match lets you move that much closer to a letter you need. If the Halloweeja Board reveals your PASSWORD first you win.
But beware: Creature Cards can be either a trick or treat, and help or hinder anyone in the game. (There are 53 individual cards. Not all appear in every session.) And that letter you revealed may be the exact thing someone else needs to win too.
The original is also available on The Game Crafter. Here is a link, so you can compare the two. See the original: Halloweeja
What's really different? In this "Ghost Light" version the instructions are available as a free download, not as a printed copy in the box. The PASSWORDs must be cut out before you can play, but because of the new format 13 new PASSWORDs, not included in the original release, are now yours. No notepaper or pencils are shipped - but chances are you own some already. The letter tiles are no longer needed because the dry erase capabilities of the board now help you track which letters the Halloweeja Board has revealed. Game includes a neat dry erase marker! The Pumpkin Tokens are gone, but those coins you didn't give to UNICEF make the perfect trackers for how many "Yes"es and "No"s are earned.
If you want pencils, notepads, and custom counters this is The Game Crafter website afterall - search the site and feel free to add things to customize your order. Here's where we'd suggest you start: Game Parts
This "Ghost Light" version is played exactly the same as the original, with the only difference being how revealed letters are displayed. The instructions will explain this minor change. Also, you are smart, and will find the original video tutorials still useful to learn how to play Halloweeja. See them here on YouTube: How To Play Halloweeja
