Havoc Card Game is an RPG card game, developed by Intense Gaming Logic LLC, that revolves around the story between a Hero and a Villain. One player plays as the Hero, and the other plays as the Villain. Each have their own unique mechanics and rule sets. Battle as the Villain with your arsenal of Hexes, Traps, and Minions or as the Hero with your armory of Attacks, Supplies and Equipment.

The game is divided into two phases: The Encounter Phase and the Dungeon Phase. The Encounter Phase is a deck-builder, where the Villain studies new Hexes, acquires new Minions and Traps, begins building his / her dungeon, and Wreaks Havoc through the lands. In the mean-time, the Hero is gaining new Equipment and Supplies, training to learn new Attacks, and saving the villagers from the havoc that the Villain causes.

In the Dungeon Phase, the Villain and Hero have become aware of one another. The Hero takes the deck that he / she built and goes up against the dungeon deck that the Villain has built. If the Hero makes it through the dungeon alive, the Hero wins and defeats the Villain. If the Hero is defeated, then the Villain is victorious.

There are several aspects that we feel make Havoc unique. First, there is the game’s dual deck-builder and competitive nature. Second, the Villain builds two decks simultaneously, this adds an extra level of strategy. Favoring the building of one deck over the other has ramifications in how the game plays out. Finally, each player has a unique shop row, and both rows are face down. We feel that this provides better immersion for players. In order to prevent cheating, we do provide revealer cards which allow players to show the cost of cards but not the cards themselves.
