Hazard Miner

Introduction

Embark on an extraordinary odyssey with the perilous mission to delve into the depths of the ancient Hazard Cave, where treacherous dangers and boundless treasures intertwine. With unwavering determination, carve three mineshafts in pursuit of hidden minerals, defying the fate that has befallen countless others. Your quest is to emerge triumphant, laden with the greatest riches ever unearthed, and etch your name as the revered Hazard Miner.

Overview

Each turn, you will draw a card and take a set of two actions: Place a card in a mineshaft or collect gold from a mineshaft. You must balance the risk of hazard cards with the reward of mining for more gold. The game ends either when the mineshafts are entirely full of cards, or you and your friends have collected 6 times. You will then rank the amount of gold you have collected against the other players to see where you rank on your quest to become the hazard miner.

Rules

1: Draw a card

Draw a card from the deck. If it is a hazard, immediately place the card and take its action.

2: Place a card in a mineshaft

Place a card and take its action. Add the mineral amount of the card on top of the card. When the card is destroyed, so are its minerals.

3: Collect from a mineshaft

Collect all the minerals in a mineshaft off of the cards for safekeeping.
