The Third Moon Syndicate has put out a call for new couriers. This is just the job you and your team have been waiting for. You know most of your assignments won't be above board, but that doesn't bother you because the Syndicate pays well. Very well. But the job isn't yours yet. The Syndicate demands excellence from anyone allowed into the fold. So they have devised a test to pit your team against the other applicants. Can you successfully reach the other end of the city? You'll have to race across town while avoiding peril, evading attacks from your rivals, and taking down anyone who gets in your way. Do you have what it takes to be considered a top-tier courier? It's time to find out. Hex-a-Go!
In Hex-a-Go!, each player contols a team of four couriers racing across the city. Some are faster, some are stronger. Each courier also has an upgraded side with improved stats and, often, a special ability. But upgrading is not a one-way street. Couriers can be upgraded and reverted multiple times throughout the game. The catch? Flipping tiles (either upgrading or reverting) occurs for all couriers simultaneously (including your rivals')! Each courier tile is marked with a symbol that is a combination of color, shape, and number of dots. You can choose to flip all tiles with a triangle, regardless of the color of the symbol or the number of dots. Or you can choose to flip all tiles with two dots, regardless of the color or shape of the symbol. In this way you can strategically choose to upgrade your pieces while reverting your rivals'. Of course, the choice isn't always so straightforward. Sometimes you may have to tolerate upgrading the courier of a rival or two in order to get the best upgrades for yourself. Each time you play, you will be given a unique team of four couriers from a roster of nine, each with their own strengths and abilities. In this way, you can enjoy adapting to a new strategy each time you play! Have fun, and Hex-a-Go!
