Description

Bored with Chess? Want to try a variant that brings something new to the table? Here is everything you need to play Hexagonal Chess, invented by Władysław Gliński in 1936 and still the best known version of Chess to be played on a hex-based board. Game set includes all the pieces (including the extra Bishops and Pawns) and a notated board, with hexes that measure 1.5" from side to side.

NOTE: Rules for play are no longer included. You may easily find rules for play on the web.

NOTE: Due to The Game Crafter discontinuing their boxes, this game is now published without a box.

Alternative pieces for this set are also available separately:

Hex Chess (pieces only)
