Description

Our Holy People of Outrageous Misfortune Memorial Hospital is said to be the worst hospital in the country. Many believe it to be cursed. You, unfortunately, are a doctor at Holy People Hospital. Due to the recent shortage of patients (and capable physicians), there have been a lot of layoffs recently. You must protect your patients from awful events, themselves, and your fellow MDs. Be the last doctor employed to win the game.

Hex-Ray is a draw-one-play-one card game set in a horrible hospital. You are all doctors, trying to be the last one to watch your patients expire, all the while wreaking havoc on your fellow doctors' patients. Heal your patients, get new ones, and inflict horrible afflictions on those around you. If you're the last doctor with patients left, you win!

Jane may have come in for a simple headache... then the x-ray machine fell on her. Brian and Larry were on the mend, until two orderlies smashed their wheelchairs into each other. Lillian has some kind of horrible growth -- what IS that thing? Oh, and don't try to save this one, he has a Do Not Resuscitate order. These are just a few things you'll find yourself saying in a game of Hex-Ray!
