HexDek

HexDek is a hexagonal card deck where each card's value is an isometric (3-face) view of a standard d6, paired with standard playing card suits (clubs, diamonds, hearts, spades). There are eight (8) possible isometric views. With the addition of a blank die for each suit, that's 36 cards (8 + 1 blank per suit) in this deck.

The card values are:

• null/wild (blank die/value with one of each die value along each edge)
• 1-2-3
• 1-3-5
• 1-4-2
• 1-5-4
• 2-4-6
• 2-6-3
• 3-6-5
• 4-5-6

NOTE: HexDek is presented as an experimental deck. There are no current games designed for it, but the deck was originally conceived as a way to combine elements of playing cards and dice (and, by extension, double-six dominoes) in new and interesting ways.

• Renamed product to HexDek.

• Updated the card back to simplify it, added graphics to allow for path/grid consideration for using the card backs as a potential game element.

As of its introduction, there are no current games written for the iso-d6-Hex Deck (original name), but the concept is being made available for anyone to experiment with to see what they can come up with.
