Hippo Deck
Requirements
Description
9 year old Megan likes to draw Hippos for her mother. I challenged her to take her time and draw all of the design elements for a deck of playing cards. She drew the three face cards and the joker. She drew all of the suit symbols and all of the letters and typography. She even designed the back of the card and the logo on the front of the box. Afterwards I laid out these elements (and some manipulation was done to clean and straighten things) but every line she drew and every drawing decision was hers!
In the end it is a very readable, playable, and happy deck of playing cards good for the entire family. It is a very very kid friendly deck!
So if you like hippos...
Also, all proceeds go to Megan's every growing Barbie obsession (don't worry, we always keep her stocked in art supplied).
