Homestead Haven

Homestead Haven is a strategy game for 2-4 players set in a semi-rural small town. Players assume the roles of newcomers or longstanding residents. Players will use their asymmetrical perks, tile placing, resource gathering, inter-player trading, and card drafting to cultivate their homestead and prove whose is the most prosperous of them all.

Objective

Farm and trade Food and Animal cards, win Events, complete Town Lore missions, and be the first to reach the end of the mini board (on the back of the box) to win Prosperity Points.

Plot

You are a new homestead owner, seeking to develop the best homestead in town. Start by revealing your new property, filled with apple trees, corn fields, potato plants, and strawberry bushes in some lucky combination or unlucky other. With 8 playable characters, each with their own unique perks, a new set of land every session, and a mini board game to get a bonus perk each year (or disadvantage!), virtually no two games are alike!

Embark on your homesteading adventure to out-trade, outcompete, and outmaneuver your rivals. Buy animals to help you develop your homestead, win events to become more prosperous, and learn more about the town lore for some extra bonuses.

But homesteading is not easy. Do not overlook the seasonal food consumption of your animals, care for the pests and thieves, and remember: always preserve your food, for all raw foods must be thrown away before the next year.
