Impede

IMPEDE is a abstract strategy game in the spirit of Go or Checkers. The goal is simple, just place 4 of your pieces in a row. The only problem is that your opponent is doing all they can to stop you while making their own row.

A deceptive balance between offense and defense. Trap, block, and otherwise IMPEDE your opponent's progress to secure victory.

Gameplay involves moving one of your pieces to an adjacent, unoccupied space in an attempt to get 4 in a row before your opponent.

As of April 2012, Impede has received a positive review from The Dice Tower. There were a few visual criticisms that we have taken into consideration with the current 2.0 version.
