Description
International Checkers is a widely-played strategy game in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Eastern Europe, and elsewhere. Compared to the Anglo-American game, it uses a larger board, and much more maneuverable pieces.
Until now, though, it could be hard to find an inexpensive set outside of the game's European home. This edition defies time and space to put a 10×10 grid of 1¼" spaces on one of the Game Crafter's compact 10"×10" game mats! But seriously, it uses what is called the Orthogonal Representation of the checkerboard, to squeeze out the spaces you can't play on anyway. We pass the savings on to you!
