Into The Wasteland

Into The Wasteland is a card based, push your luck solo board game that is based in a post apocalyptic future. The player will lead a group of vehicles for a 3 day journey in an attempt to bring back as many Civilians and Supplies that they can. The player may also come across mysterious Facilities as well as Specialists that have a limited pool of resources to aid the player. Its up to the player if they wish to explore the Facilities, but with great danger comes great riches such as Antidote vials as well as mechanics to repair the vehicles.

Into The Wasteland uses two small decks of tarot sized cards, one for The Wasteland events and one for The Facility events. Each card has three events that can occur depending in what order it was drawn. Each one of the 8 vehicles can carry a certain amount of Civilians, Ammo and Supplies and it is tracked using small cubes on a Vehicle card. As a player completes the events in The Wasteland deck a new day dawns and it is shuffled and completed in the same manner.

Not only will a player have to worry about keeping their vehicles running, they will have to survive conflicts with many enemy types throughout The Wasteland. Conflicts are resolved with the roll of dice and a player must choose to use the Ammo they have if needed, or lose Civilians. Remember, cars don't drive themselves!
