Description
Islanders is a territory based strategy game for 2 to 6 players, targeted for ages 12 and up, and with games lasting around 2 to 3 hours.
The game uses traditional mechanics found in games like Risk, Settlers of Catan, and Magic the Gathering, while also incorporating new mechanics that make the game exciting and unique.
Players start in their respective hex corners and then expand outward to capture territory. The more territories you own, the more gold you can collect, the larger armies you can build.
The familiar yet novel mechanics make for compelling and intuitive game play, filled with negotiating and politicking and nail biting contests over territory.
