JAI-DICE is a solo game that simulates a day of parimutuel betting at the fronton, gambling on the exciting sport of Jai Alai. To win, the player must claim a crippling majority of the deck of 44 2-sided multi-function Hi-Dice cards before the enemy does.
By manipulating a set of statistically weighted "dice" values [representing power, speed, and range] players simulate an engagement with an enemy shot on the jai alai fronton. Deploy cards to balance the statistical attributes of the engagement. Players may win the point and collect cards from the draw or lose cards to the enemy.
JAI-Dice is a mesmerizing and rewarding past-time that is both rigorous and calming.
