Description
Jump Bones is a New Game created by Dan Leighly "Montanadan" at FireBall Monster Games.
No, it is not a game played by pygmy cannibals!
The object of the game is to capture your opponent’s chips for points. The game is easy to learn, and can be played just about anywhere there is a flat surface.
Each player has 20 numbered chips 1-5, and 5 X-Bone chips. Players take turns flipping and jumping same numbered chips for points.
Game Objective: Be the player with the highest number of points at the end of play to win the game.
The set up is as easy as dividing up the tokens, and placing them face down in front of the players.
On Your Turn:
1. Player can peek at one chip token and either flip it or leave it face down, and flip a random chip. Player must flip at least one chip during play.
2. Player can jump another same number chip in play. Jumping means matching and taking an opponent's face up chip for points.
3. Player can use an X-Bone to either Blind Jump their opponent or protect a high value chip in play. Blind Jumping is when a player uses an X-Bone to jump and take an opponent's face down unseen chip for double points.
A player can protect a high value chip by placing the X-Bone on top of the face up high value chip, such as a number 5 chip, preventing it from being taken.
X-Bone chips are worth Double Points. Each player only has five X-Bone chips.
