WHAT IT'S ABOUT Kapow is a strategic, real-time, battle brawl card game. Players get to punch, kick and head-butt each other (with cards), while ducking, weaving and blocking, all at the speed of their hands and minds. There are no turns, so speed plays a major factor, but the smarter players will usually dominate, even if they are slower. With more than 3 players, Kapow is played in teams. Communication and teamwork will often be the determining factor in who gets bludgeoned and who walk away as champions.
HOW ITS PLAYED Players divide into two teams (except in 3 player games), and sit in a circle. Each player has his own deck which he holds in one hand while using the other to play and move cards. The cards represent combat moves, such as punching or blocking. You can play offensive by putting cards on your opponents Battle Board, or defensive by blocking their attacks against you. If you punch, kick or head-butt your opponent enough times without them defending you can Kapow them. After 4 rounds, the team that got Kapow-ed the most loses.
