Description

Ducking and diving, you roll past the crimson lasers, all of which, with the slightest detected movement could alarm authorities of your presence.

You're on a jewel heist, and you know your mission - grab the jewel and go, but what's this? You're not alone. Across the great hall is your nemesis.

You both reach opposite sides of the jewel vault at the center of the museum, lasers keeping you from reaching over to any of the other sides. In front of both of you are keypads with letters. Input the 4-digit code, and the vault shall open.

Will you be able to open the vault before your opponent?

  1. Using your hand to hide it, secretly write a 4-letter word on your side of the card. This is the code to the jewel vault that your opponent must decipher.
  2. When you both finish, look away and flip over the card, each player placing 1 hand on their side of the card, index to pinky fingers covering the indicated spaces.
  3. Take turns asking yes or no questions about the other player’s code. After a question is asked, move a finger back 1 position. If there are no spaces left, that finger remains off the card for the rest of the game. There is no order for which finger you must move first.
  4. Reveal keys to immediately either ask more specific questions based on their letter type or take a guess at the code.

P: Part of speech / S: Synonym / L: The location of any known letters

When guessing, the letter type of the key does not matter. Win by guessing the secret word!

Keys to the Vault was created by Maikai Games, an international family from the US and Japan.

With 3 very young children, we strive to create games that are simple to learn and engaging for all members of the family. We also love to mix fun with education and in Keys to the Vault, players must use what vocabulary they know to guess the code to open the jewel vault.

Thank you again for taking the time to look at Keys to the Vault. We hope that you enjoy it and that it makes your game night a memorable one, whether it be with friends or family.
