Lancer began life in the late '60s as Astro Blitz, a spacey-looking abstract strategy game in the same vein as Camelot, but more territorial and with a reversible board, allowing for a two- or a three-player game. Its publisher gave up on it in the early '70s however, without ever giving us a chance to play it without the crazy colors. This edition simplifies the game's colors and terminology and presents the game in its most accessible edition yet. Give this one a try; you won't regret it!
Catamount Games is dedicated to making available those traditional, abstract, or obscure games that have been neglected or short-shrifted in today's marketplace. For more detailed information on any of these games, click the links to the right for "Free Downloads" and "More Info."
