LEADERS

* OVERVIEW *

LEADERS is a post-apocalyptic game of resource management and survival. In the wake of several cataclysmic events, weather systems have become random and unstable; basic resources such as food and clean water have become scarce; roving groups of bandits ravage and scavenge from all who cross their paths.

In this new and terrifying world, 2 to 4 inexperienced but brave individuals will attempt to help a remaining population to survive.

Using specific skills and areas of expertise, players must become caretakers of a new world, a new age, the future – in short they must become LEADERS.

* THE GOAL *

[1] SURVIVE – the main goal of the game is to prevent the population from dying out by providing them with adequate supplies of food, water, medicine, kindling for warmth, and military protection. When play reaches the end of the chosen time limit then the player with the highest influence at that time wins.

[2] WIN – a game of LEADERS can end, regardless of the chosen time limit, when the population reaches a POP index of 7. The player who causes this to occur is the winner, regardless of how they made it occur.

[3] DO NOT LOSE – a game of LEADERS can also end, regardless of the chosen time limit, when the population reaches a POP index of 0. The player who causes this to occur is the loser (meaning all of the other players have won).

* NOTES * The items on the sprue rack will fit comfortably in the box once they are removed from the rack.
