Description

What even is this?

Grab 2-3 friends whom you won’t miss and fight to the bitter end in Lesser Evil, the party card game where every card works against you. Play your minions, actions, and enchantments strategically, picking the lesser of the evils in your hand to beat down your foes and stave off death.

Execute epic combos (and your friends). Forge alliances, then break them. Watch and weep as your own cards betray you when you need them most. In this harsh world where the definition of good is "less bad," only one may emerge victorious. Will it be you? (Probably not. I mean, the odds are against you.)

How do I play?

If you have played Magic: The Gathering or Hearthstone before, you will easily pick up how Lesser Evil works, but anyone can learn and have a blast! Here is an overview of the rules:

  • There is one deck that all players draw from.
  • You start with 20 health. If your health is reduced to 0 or below, you lose. The goal is to be the last player standing.
  • You gain 1 mana per turn, to a maximum of 10. Mana is what you use to play cards. Leftover mana damages you at the beginning of your turn, so you want to spend as much of it as you can.
  • There are three types of cards:
    1. Minions can be used to attack and kill your opponents or defend yourself.
    2. Actions are instant effects with flexible casting costs.
    3. Enchantments provide a constant effect and must be paid for each turn.

Where can I see the cards?

You can view all of the Lesser Evil cards here. The cards contained in this set are on the Core Set tab.

Or you can just keep scrolling down.

This game is the best thing since Black Lotus! But wait... you can't trust me. I'm the developer. You'd better buy it and judge for yourself. ;)
