Abner and Hazelponi Hue must stop the Kimriyr before they reach the tombs of Naphal. This is acheived by rolls of the dice to equal the current Kimriyr K.O. points.
Six dice are rolled at once for each encounter, any difference less or greater than a foes K.O. is subtracted from the players Capacity Points.
With a bit of card play, players can unlock abilities known as "Theoreo" to manipulate dice rolls. Certain Hand cards also have the Flame icon to control certain pips on each die that cannot stay in play. Character trait values may give a player a reroll or two as well.
Included in the game are 7 flame tokens, 6 dice of different colors, 4 Theoreo cards, 3 Flame cards, 12 Hand cards, 12 Kimriyr cards, 2 character cards, 2 Capacity Point cards, and two card sliders.
