The aim is to be the first to complete a set of 6 Lions or 6 Tigers.
Shuffle the 18 cards and put them face down on the table. Each player states if they are collecting Lions or Tigers. They then take it in turns to take the top card to add to any in their hand.
If a card is useful, keep it near the front of your cards. If not, keep it at the back out of the way. If your rival needed it. You now have it safe, “out of play”.
As the game goes on, the more cards you are holding, the greater the opportunity to make your 6 cats, but more cards can become complicated to keep track of.
If you can make 6, then slap the completed set of 6 on the table and say “Lions!” or “Tigers!” To achieve your final 6 cats, the cards can be in ANY order.
You are NOT allowed to have any cats that are UPSIDE-DOWN.
If the cards run out before anyone can win. Each player keeps any 3 cards in their hand and returns the rest to the pack. Shuffle the new pack and place on the table face down, resume the game untill you have a winner. Shuffle cards well before you start a new game.
Rules included in the box.
