Description

lock-pick_SHOP-HEADER_INTRODUCTION.png

So convenient that the Noble left the window unlocked making it easy to slip into the manor. Now to slip quetly into the bed chamber where the chest is, quietly slipping through the hallways to the red door, also not locked. The Noble is making this too easy. You place a little oil in the door handle and on the hinges so there is no squeak. You slowly push the door open. The room is only illuminated by the moon light falling through the open curtains and splashing on the chest at the foot of the bed. You crouch before it and examine the lock and recognize the lock as being made by Master Feldor. You queity slip your lock picks out of your cloak and quietly, carefully, begin your work. The jewels in the chest will be yours within the hour.

Lock Pick is a card matching game where two players compete to be the firs to match picks to a series of locks. Both the picks and the locks are on playing cards and the game is played on a full color game mat. See the Action Shots below for examples of LOCK PICK cards and the LOCK PICK game mat.

Two players compete to be the first to unlock a series of locks by matching PICK CARDS from their dealt hand with the pins on the LOCK CARDS in the center of the game mat. The objective of Lock Pick is to complete the most Lock Cards or garner the most Lock Card Points before the end of the game.

The Lock Pick game can be played for a total number of lock cards or for a total number of points. - CARD MODE. In the CARD MODE of Lock Pick, the number of points a player has is equal to the number of completed locks the player has at the end of the game. There are 36 locks included in the game. For a short game, it is recommended that a goal of 10 LOCK CARDS is required to win the game. For longer games, players may choose 11-36 LOCK CARDS as the end game target. - POINTS MODE. In the POINT MODE of Lock Pick, the number of points a player has is determined by the sum of the points indicated in the lower left corner of each completed LOCK CARD. A score of 30 is recommended as the target for endgame, however, players may set any point target they wish.

In eiher game mode, players take turns drawing PICK CARDS and attempting to match the lock pins of the current lock that is in game play. Matching pick cards are placed in their appropriate spaces on the game mat. The first player to match all of the lock pins on the currrent lock cards wins teh lock card and/or the points it represents.
